3-18 Saturday Ride out of Wichita....

I'm gonna ride out of Wichita Saturday morning 9am or so, no time yet to plan definitive route but most likely east towards Beaumont then north... Gonna go solo if no interest so I won't plan a meet up time and place unless I need to! Anyone welcome to ride along, just let me know and I'll get more nailed down time and place....

I'll be going around Fall River area, I have a route, and plan on leaving from the gas station by Severy. My route is about 65 miles.
Woody, we could meet up if you want, so far it will be me on my ural and Mark Cole on his klr250.

I've kinda got a route in my head that I want to see, I just haven't committed it to GPS yet, probably won't go any further east than Piedmont but appreciate the offer!!

Yeah we'll be in the same hood at some point out that way!! You could always join us too. I know that's probably a bit further west than you intend to go!

Hmmm ... tempting .... and Lord knows I need the exercise! Will touch bases with you Friday eve, as Saturday is my first day back in Wichita after a most $hitty week elsewhere at work.

Keep in mind, I ride a Shetland when it comes to pavement speed.

Love to have you along Roger and what better excuse is there than a shitty work week!! My plan is to run as little pavement as possible and I've seen that Shetland run before so you don't fool me!!! I really don't know what options for food my route will have so maybe we fuel up in Beaumont with a brunch kinda thang?

Oy (English Cockney), Woody .... will touch bases this eve after a pre-dawn inspection of the "Grasshopper", followed by today's "mind and soul grinder" at work. Lord knows, I need a head-clearing, body aerobicising, image/writing capture experience, and riding skill-level refreshener course session!

I'm way west Wichita, almost to Goddard. I'm currently riding 2013 V-Strom 650 Adventure.  I've got 50/50 tires on it, so I can do a little more than pavement lol.

Sounds like the 3 of us expressing interest so far are all west siders! I've got a track laid out now and I'm gonna say meet up by 9am at Kwik Shop at 47th and Clifton by K-15 Saturday morning, then we'll head east to Beaumont! Looks like route is about 150 miles from Kwik Shop out and back to Augusta, mostly gravel... One known technical section but with dry conditions should just be "fun"!!! Most of it I've traveled before, some I have not. Looking forward to it, hope to see some folks join in!
