Hi Marc, Kelley Park is a couple of blocks east of US-75 at the south end of town. Take Alleghaney St. east from US-75. The 4-H building is on the north side of the park.

;D For You Phil, I'll see what I can find. I think the rest of us will try riding around any deep water this year.

Seriously, the weather is looking awesome for the next couple of weeks.

Good Morning,
Just wanted to give an update. The weather is looking very good for the Roads and Trails Rally this weekend.

The Alliance of Christian Churches in Burlington will be providing us some pastries for riders to enjoy prior to and during the riders meeting. Valnet Internet Services will be providing some bottled water and trail mix snacks for the riders to throw in their tank/saddle bag. We will have a large cooler of water and one of Gatorade on hand for riders to fill their camelbak if needed. There is always a pot of coffee on.

Tent camping will be in the designated camping area of Kelley Park and the RV's obviously in their designated areas. The fee is $10 per day for any type of camping. Remember, there are also two nice motels in town for those that prefer not to camp.

The riders meeting will start at 8:30 AM on both Friday and Saturday.

I have not planned any meals. Rather we can enjoy some of the local restaurants.

We will have a registration sheet for folks to sign in so we can keep a good head count and know who is still out at the end of the day.

My tagline for this rally is "Remember when you feel in love with riding?" This is a simple rally with the main focus on enjoying the ride, regardless of what you ride. Whether you're an expert rider or on the first outing. Bring a friend and let's go for a ride.

I've attached a screenshot of Kelly Park, I'm not sure exactly which building we're in, but there's a large parking area on the north and south side of the park. I would presume either of those areas?

Big thanks and Amen to CMA, Mike and Becky for putting on a great ride on a great day in Kansas.
Was great to finally meet some other members of the forum and put a face to a name.

I peeled off from the group about 10 miles east of Hamilton for the short route home...220 miles clocked on the OD for the day.

Mike I would have enjoyed being there for your Devotional...life is such as it is but count me in as being there in spirit.

I didn't haul my big pig of a camera and only got a few shots on my phone which like my KLR, does nothing great but works well at everything.

We had a wonderful two days of riding. On Friday we covered about 220 miles and on saturday about 150. The group Friday was 9 riders and on Saturday we had 13 riders. I took pictures with my phone. I need to connect to my computer and pull the photos over so I can post them to the website here. I'll get that done in the next day or so. In the meantime if others took some pictures, please post them here for everyone to enjoy.
We are committed to doing the Roads and Trails Rally again next year in Burlington. We'll pick different routes next year so we see some fresh terrain. It looks like the dates will be September 7 - 9, 2018.
I want to thank Valnet Internet Services of Independence and the Alliance of Christian Churches in Burlington for supporting the event. We appreciate their support greatly. Most of all, the event wouldn't be possible without all the riders that showed up to ride.
