Three great rendezvous locations .... Eureka, Cottonwood Falls, Council Grove.

I'm partial to Eureka but any of the 3 would be great I'm sure! Just need to set a date as early as possible this year, our procrastination last year cost me the ability to make it pretty much.... The more time I have to make arrangements the better for sure....

 Last year was my first stampede, and I absolutely loved it. I am 100% in for another go around this year. I ended up leading the advanced group around last year, and would be happy to lead another group again this year.

I should be able to make it this year.  As long as we have cabins or a motel nearby, any of the locations are fine.  My days of sleeping on the ground are over.

It's not quite double the distance for me to get up to Cottonwood Falls or Council Grove, but that's not the end of the world.

Swope park in Cottonwood Falls has RV facilities ($15/day) and a community room ($75/day), and tent camping at Bates Grove Park (located North of the river bridge). I didn't see a cost on the tent camping.

There appear to be three motels in Cottonwood Falls: Millstream Resort Motel, The Lark Inn on Main Guesthouse, and Grand Central Hotel & Grill. All are about 3-4 blocks from Swope park.

Council Grove has ample camping at the lake, both tent and RV. I see only one motel in town, though. the Prarie Lodge Motel.

I'm not sure what kind of meeting location might be available.

Last years setup was great IMHO.  It was nice chillin' at the lake after the ride.

 My days of sleeping on the ground are over too. Council Grove with all of its camping is one I will pass on this year if it becomes a repeat of last year.

Lets do Cottonwood Falls!  I'll camp if I HAVE to, but I'm a proud city boy, haha!  I prefer a cheap motel over sleeping in the dirt.

I would say no matter where the Stampede is, one could camp, stay in a motel, or drive home that evening.

I've never been to a stampede yet but I'm very interested in learning more about them and attending in the near future. Since I don't know much about any of the sites I'll refrain from voting in the pole.

I rode out of Junction with the Fast Lane rally in 2015 and 2016, there is a lot of good riding up that way! It's a long ways to go from SEK though :(

I like this idea.  I've had this idea we should have some regional rides to lessen the distance for most riders.
