I'll go if we can camp. I've got to avoid motels to save $$ for NMBDR

Still on for April 3-5. Starting in Elgin and going north to Nebraska. Camping and/or hotel in Eureka and then camping only in Alma.  Hoping for kickstands up in Elgin at high noon.  I think about 140 miles to Eureka the first day, then 220 miles second day to Alma on Saturday, then Sunday to Nebraska boarder 120 miles. Then home.

I'm looking at my calendar and I think this is a go for me. I'll plan to take Friday off work.

Any other details a guy should know??

I am going to take off Friday too. Lets take dirt to Eureka to meet eveybody

I would think we will get to Eureka at about 5-6pm. You would be missing some good parts of the route, but I understand. Great to have you along Mike, I can send you the route in either GPX or KLM format. Just let me know.
As for anything you need to know, I’d be watching the weather for that week.

Marc, send me the GPX file if you can. I'm thinking I'll be leaving my place early enough Friday morning to meet the group in Elgin for the noon KSU. I think that's what Nick is talking about as well.

I haven't gotten much riding in since late November. I had surgery in early December and then sold my Harley in mid December. Now the weather is generally pitiful. So, I'm ready to start thinking about a ride!! I'm looking forward to the trip.

Christian Hills Camp And Resort Campground , Is the camp site. It is southwest of the city. I’ll be calling them to see how man y sites and the cost. I’ll send u the file tonight. I’ll be going easy to as I had surgery feb 7th.

I might have misunderstood or the plan might have changed. Originally I thought we were meeting in Eureka, riding down to Elgin/Cedar Vale, then back up to Eureka; but now it sounds like we're meeting in Elgin? What time?

Leaving Elgin at noon.

Due to all the rain we are getting and what the forecast looks like. We are talking about moving the ride date up. Looks like maybe May 15-17 or June 12-14. What do u think ?

This is the rain date for the safari remember. Hopefully we won't need it. but if it is Peterson's Hick's and Schettlers will not be able to go.

Opps! I'm planning to do the Safari. So, if you need the rain date, so will I.
