Hi all. I'm just getting started in DS riding and really motorcycle riding in general. I live in Olathe, KS and I look forward to seeing you all out there on some deserted backroad.

This is a good group to get into Dual Sport with.  Lots of guys who have a lot of experience and riding knowledge who are will to help.  There are a couple of good rides coming up over the next couple of months.  See you on the back roads.

Welcome. I live in Lenexa. Some decent options for riding up in these parts.

Welcome! I'm in Lawrence so not far from you, be happy to ride with you anytime. If you want to practice trail riding the closest place I know of is in Topeka http://www.sc-trail.com/.

Thanks! I also saw a trail park listed up by Perry Lake as well. I may have to take a ride up there one of these weekends.

I've ridden the trails at Perry Lake but it's been a few years, they are just south of the dam. It had more variety than Topeka and will be a bit more difficult. There's some decent tight woods riding and some rocky hill climbs. Both are fairly small riding areas.

This may have been on another site, but somewhere out here on the interwebs, I saw a Kansas ADV loop roughly following the Kansas State outline. I can't seem to find it posted anywhere. I'd like some help tracking it down if possible.

Thanks!
