I didn't have too firm of a plan for Friday, as I'd initially figured I'd be riding alone. I'll plan on leaving at 10AM so that there's a good amount of time for folks to arrive in the morning.

I don't know how long it'll take or when we'll get back to camp, if we find stuff that I need to route around, etc; might need to scout a path. My planned route is about 120 miles.

I'll be there Friday A.M. and will be pre-riding my track if anyone wants to come along. Basically, riding north to Alma and then east and west from there. Putting together an easy track for those who just like a nice ride in the country. Posted on Facebook to get a head count of those who will be taking the scenic ride...........

Will there be any gps tracks available for this ride or strickly follow the leader?   Should arrive early enough friday to get to do some scouting of the flinthills and truly excited to be on this ride.

Thanks for the gps file Nick.   I am all in favor of following a group leader just do not want to slow down a group ride gawking at all the "new to me" sights.

Phil Dink is leading the Scenic ride, though it sounds we're heading in the same direction. The GPX file I posted is for the ride I'll be leading.

I may or may not be able to attend this one- i probably wont know until thursday or friday night. I'll just haul up for the day early in the morning, ride, then haul back.

Nick, Marc - do you guys plan to have a tip jar or anything like that, for donations for the camping spot costs?  I'll throw some bucks your way for sure.

And for those who were asking-  maybe we'll do a hard/fast loop next year.. I have a little girl who's almost here and I didn't have any time to plan a route.  :)

Campsite Update

A few more takers, if I am counting correctly we are up to 10/16 RV spaces spoken for, and six or eight pickups/trailers. I don't think there will be any problem with parking availability now that we have the larger site, and there should be plenty of room for folks who show up that may not have posted here.

I see that the poll has gone up from 26 to 30 since my last email, though I'm not seeing any more +1's in the thread - by my count we have approximately 42 riders coming, plus whomever may come that didn't post here. Should be a nice group!

I am planning on being there Sat & Sunday, have a truck and just sleep in the back.  I'll ride the min maint one and can lead Sunday, got some tracks going west full of min maint stuff.   Thanks for planning this!
