Henderson /Vegas recommendations
« on: October 31, 2018, 12:09:17 PM »
I am going to Henderson Nevada (vegas) next week. And I am looking for a motorcycle rental/day ride while there off the slab! and no I am not interested in a dune buggy. Does anybody have any recommendations of a company or rental shop for bikes??

My wife has to go to a conference and will be in class all day for two days and half days after that. So I have some "Me" time to kill! Want to do it on two wheels in the desert! Thanks for any help you have to offer.
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.

Always wanted to get down that way, NV/AZ looked to live and work at a small FBO in Prescott AZ.

Not sure that this might help you but from watching the Discovery channels, (Sci,NG,History etc.) If you have time might look up Kounts Customs, and Weldrup. I know Vegas Rat Rods (Weldrup) is a family riding off road in the desert. With no other info and if I ever made it down there, This is where I would start.

Have fun man!

I can't personally recommend it but I did find https://www.gsmotoadventures.com/ in a search result that rents out Africa Twin and KLR650

I posted on the FB page but figured I better follow up here now that I have logged on. I did go to Eurocycle. They were incredible to deal with. I wanted a 800 Tiger but the group ahead of me took every 800 they had. So I got stuck on a 1200 Tiger. It was a nice bike. Comfortable but i would never own one! Big bikes are just great on the highway but turn on a desert trail and you just wish you had a DR! I did however enjoy the Valley of fire completely. Scenery was incredible, I was sweating in November, nothing quite like it. In short. If you are in Vegas and want to kill some time, Eurocycles is the place to go. If your not looking for a Harley. These guys were so accommodating and polite, professional, can't say enough good! Cheap also i thought. Nice selection of bikes if you reserve ahead. I called them at 8 am from my hotel room, and by 9 was on a bike in the desert. Cant complain about that!
