This is the info I received from the city council about Lady’s night.

The 2018 Ladies Night Out event will take place Friday, July 13th, from 6p-9p! “Destination Council Grove” will be the theme, allowing businesses a wide variety of opportunities to decorate or choose the specials for the night. The options are unlimited, so be ready for surprises.
 
Local Realtors and Restaurants have been invited to serve snack foods and drinks this year in a new refreshment area, “The Palate Paradise.”  It will be set up in the Aldrich Apothecary Drive-Thru location, a shady place for shoppers to sit and grab a cool beverage and snack.
 
Shoppers will be encouraged to stop by the Chamber Office to get a Passport that will list the names of all the businesses participating in the Ladies Night Out Promotion and the Palate Paradise. There will be small stamps that are travel themed to stamp each location square on the passport. All completed passports returned to the Chamber will be to be entered into a drawing for prizes.

The city of CG is getting a special rate at the Cottage House hotel, also there are allowing people to take drinks form the bar and grill next door (BG's Bar and Grill) into the hotel.Also the dinner will be at the Cottage House Hotel  banquet room on 7-14-18 at 6PM. Dinner will be Smoked pulled pork sandwiches, bake beans and the fixins. If the weather is cooler we will have the dinner outside downtown.

I don't know what I'm doing yet on the 14th, but I've went back and read through all the posts trying to piece together all the bits of info.

Ride with whomever you wish trying to collect points
Meet back time?
Meet back location?
Is there a cost for this ride?  If so, what all does it include?

No cost for riding.
Time back is up to you as it is a  scavenger hunt  Ride. Dinner will be at 6pm at the cottage house hotel in town if it’s hot. If the weather is cool we will have it outside, that info I’ll let everyone know on Saturday morning before we head out. 
Location for meeting back will be the cottage house hotel so we can make sure everyone is back.

My wife and I are planning on being there for Friday Night and Saturday.  We are planning on camping in our RV at Canning CreekSanta Fe Trail campground.  FYI in a Corp park you can have an RV and a tent on the same site.  We plan on driving down Thursday and staying three nights.  I am available to hook up with a team.  I have never been on a scavenger hunt before.  I usually feel good if I make it back to where I started.

The Bound is now live, providing about a week to do route planning as you see fit.

There are 20 stages, and 33 locations in the hunt - don't expect to get every location! Part of the challenge is to pick your route and get the locations you can, then get back for dinner!

Once you download the app, tap "Scan Code" and scan the QR code attached to this post.

This will bring up the starting page of the hunt. At the bottom you'll see "Start Bound" and "Download Bound". As we'll be in areas where cell reception can be dodgy, I recommend tapping "Download Bound" so that all of the information is pre-loaded.

I have also included a KML and GPX files for various devices.

Please feel free to play around in the app and bound to get used to how it works. I will reset the scoreboard next Friday!

The scavenger hunt looks pretty fun. Some places I’ve been to, a lot I haven’t.  It’s going to be hard to pick and choose what places to see at the roundup and which ones to checkout a different day. The wife and I have our room reserved at the Cottage house. Looking forward to it.

Looking at the maps, it appears we must refuel in Council Grove around lunch time based on my bike's 130 mi to reserve range.  I do have a larger tank I can put on but I was hoping to do that later this year.

So if I am getting this correctly, where should we post about possible routes and groups?

Some very interesting points/flags to the south....lol I don't need a gps for most of them, and I got some short cuts ;)

I DL the app but I don't see the flags.  When I touch, say Teeter Rock, it just shows an arrow on how to get there.  I'd like to see a map of the tags.  What am I not doing?  Thanks
