It's official, two more riders will represent BTK at the Arkansas CMA.  We are taking the camper just to be safe if the weather don't cooperate.  Sounds like we will have a good sized group there.  Should make for some very interesting campfire conversation.

Burt, I reserved a RV spot today. That left one more RV SPOT out of 16 RV spots. I didn’t ask about the rooms but I would get on it if I were you.
Roger that! I will call today. I was busy all weekend my kids played a show at the Roxy with the School of Rock it was a very proud moment for me check out my facebook page I'm actually Burt Peterson on there. I didn't even get to ride!! But I did work all night Saturday and fixed my blinkers, cam chain tensioner gasket, and general winter refreshing on my bike. My wife's bike is now debutante with its new TM40 carb and runs like a gaulded dog! ProCycles kit took me an hour from start to finish taking off the old to push the button and it started first crack with the new carb, that TM 40 kit is really nicely done and so incredibly worth the money if you are a DR rider!
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.

I just reserved three rooms for the group of flat-landers I am taking down. Good Ol' Boy Dave told me he has a whole block of rooms saved for the CMA riders. Can't speak to the camp sites.

I'm excited about the turnout our group is having at an out of state event! :)

It might help the event planners to pre-register; it's free for guests, and not required. You can just show up! However, it would help them know how many are coming:

I registered my 4 riders. Thanks for the reminder probably is a big "SURPRISE" to just have people show up from Kansas Unannounced.

Mike,  can you post the ride flyer on here or include details to the ride.  For example is there a ride Friday and Saturday for Saturday and Sunday.  I can't seem to find it on the CMA site.  Thanks

I'll try to attach the flyer here. Sometimes I accomplish this and other times I just scratch my head and wonder why it didn't work.

Most of the Roads and Trails Rallies follow the same basic format. Thursday is the travel day to get there, set camp and check in. There are ride groups going out together on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is more ad lib, based on how much time you have and how far a person needs to travel to be home for work Monday. Nick and I are trailering down on Thursday to set camp and be ready to ride on Friday and Saturday.

We're just about 2 weeks out from the Arkansas Roads and Trails Rally. I'm looking forward to the event. I REALLY need to get away and get some serious throttle therapy! So, is everyone still on board? If you've been watching this event but haven't decided yet - well, come on down! You can still register at the event. Not sure about camping, you'll just need to call. I'll bet we could stack some extra tents in the sites we already have reserved.

So, whose in?

I am in! Bringing two other families. 5 riders traveling with our caravan. Trailer leaves soon as Marc gets here and all bikes are stowed on Thursday late morning. Looking forward to it. Last time I spoke to the resort they had plenty of rooms available.
