WTB - DRZ 400
« on: August 24, 2017, 03:02:22 PM »
My wife has been riding a 2006 KLR 650. Over the years she has never been comfortable on the bike. It's just too much weight for her.

So, I'm looking for a Suzuki DRZ400.

If you have one in the garage that you'd sell - send me a PM and let's talk.

Thanks,

Kingrider

Reading about the DRZ400 on Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_DR-Z400

I'm not sure if it goes without saying, but I'm sure you're looking for the street legal version DR-Z400S

Good Morning,

Yes, the S model. As it turns out - I found a 2005 on Craigslist in Hillsboro, Ks. Went and looked at it Saturday morning and made the deal. It is a nice addition to the stable.

So, thanks for the contacts - but I'm good.

She has taken to the bike very well. She recognizes it's lighter and handles better. I suggested a trip to Bogeys for some off-road practice. She didn't throw anything at me. 😀
