iPhone and iPad Testing

I volunteer to conduct iPhone and iPad testing to the extent I can (not an expert). I am running IOS 10.2. One thing I have noticed thus far is the Topics view does not have the count of views and replies seen on the traditional Windows view. Can the view and reply counts be displayed for IOS devices?

Thanks for all the work in converting the BTK site!  I did not want to lose that site but did not have the background to convert to a current platform.

 I too am using the current version of iOS in my iPhone and iPad but I am running the Curve theme as my preset view and I do have the count in my view so I don't know  if that is part of the default theme or what?

The Green theme (default) displays the posts & replies depending on the screen size/resolution.  On my phone they do not show but they do on screens 10" & up.  I have a old 8" tablet laying around somewhere that I'll try.


Woody are you using that Curve theme on your phone?  It isn't supposed to be responsive.  I know on my phone the text is too small to read when I've tried to use it.


BTW, the green theme is Candy Lime & black like some dual sport bikes 


The Reboot theme uses the Honda Racing Colors.

I'm not viewing the page on my phone until Tapatalk comes online, otherwise all print is too damn small for my aging eyes!! That's one of the main reasons I love that app, makes all forums on it so viewer friendly on all devices..

I can try it though but I think as you said, my default theme being Curve on my settings makes it look pretty micro, I did see it once and never looked at the original default on my phone! My primary device currently in use is my trusty ole iPad and it looks great on it!

Oh yeah, Reboot looks fine on the iPhone! Nice! Loving the user experience on smart devices!! Kudos JollyRoger and NickB...

Showing my ignorance, the mention of "themes"....  Are you referencing a theme on the Smart Phone/device or a theme configuration on this site?  I am using an iPhone 6S Plus and an older iPad (iPad Air I think).

We were talking about themes for this board.  Themes control how the board is displayed, colors, text styles, etc.  A "responsive" theme senses the size of the display you are using and automatically resizes the board elements.
I've added some different themes so users can pick what works best for them.

Last night after a lot of searching I stumbled across the option to change the theme and successfully loaded a theme that displays the full screen on the iPhone 6S Plus and the iPad Air.  I can't remember the theme title but I think it was the Curve Blue/Gray.  I am unable to find the Theme change option now.  Probably would be beneficial to provide the link or directions in the Features category. I expect members with the larger size smart phones will want the option to view the full screen.

I changed from Curve to Reboot on my 6+ iPhone and it's definitely better, it is reactive to your screen size and sizes itself accordingly!
