Derek I think it would be great for you to take point on this if you are so inclined! Maybe PM Roger Baugh on here if you need any ideas what may need done but like others have said, we should keep it simple as much as possible or anyone will be overwhelmed by the organization involved the more complex it gets!

Ron Grundy would be your contact at the Blue Stem Hotel as far as that goes and he has also in the past very successfully led advanced group rides for Stampedes, he has great knowledge of the local surrounding Eureka!

Kingrider- Marc, Woody  -  thanks for the feedback!  i think the Beaumont ride would be a great opportunity to hash things out. I'm based in Wichita, so if you're nearby, we could possibly meet up before for a little chat.

I'll ping Roger and see what kind of protips he might have for us.  I think a fairly simple stampede wouldnt be too difficult to plan...

Do any of you guys have routes out that way? I've never ridden that part of the state before.

I live over in the chanute area. My first opportunity to get over to Wichita will be the 15th. It's a Saturday. We have some plans already, but lunch may be a possibility.

Thats the plan :)  Its not going to be a really elaborate one this year- I havent been able to call the folsk I need to to schedule anything big- but we're for darn sure gonna  try to make something happen :)
