3-18-17 Fall River
« on: March 18, 2017, 09:18:53 PM »
Mark Cole and I cheated a bit, as we trailered my Ural and his KLR 250 from Wichita to just east of Fall River  ;D We traveled a total of 126 miles and saw some cool fires ( controlled burns), missed a picture of a cow standing in the fire around him, didn't seem to faze him at all.Ran into a closed gate, made the ride a bit hard to get back on track, then we hit a dirt road that someone is trying to make passable in the future, sounds good to me. Only took a few pictures. Looking forward to more riding this spring and summer.
Marc

yeah, i was a little surprised how much heat i felt coming off some of those burns as we rode by. there were still a hundred feet or so from the road but things still got pretty warm.

Once led a ride through a burn season. We encountered a fire burning right up to our eastern path. Told my team that if I emerged on the other side in flames, probably best not to follow me!

Good shots!  8)

Thanks, Savage, good to know it isn't  frowned  upon.
I'm still deciding if I want a mall bike or not.
