Roger, I think there is a short run of it that going through the TAT, but most of it goes all the way around Oklahoma. Just looks like a really cool ride that can be challenging, and is close. So should be easy enough to do in a few weekends.

Thanks Noel, that would be awesome, also have a friend here on a F800GS that wants to go, so it would a good time. I was thinking on maybe like a couple of 3 day weekends we could do some of it. Do you live in Oklahoma ? Im in Wichita.

The lighter bikes are always more fun than the fat ones on group rides where you never know where the leader may take you.  CRF230L or KLX250 would be my top 2 choices given your restrictions.  The tranny ratio is really nice on the CRF230 and the seat is lower.

Thanks savage, I was looking at a crf230l. Missed ne about December time that had really low mileage and was pretty cheap.
