If you are planning to attend the 2020 Stampede, please indicate which type of ride you wish to participate in. This will help the ride leaders adjust to handle patrol sizes. We will have 2-3 different types of rides, as follows:
Scenic: 35-45 mph average speed, multi-surface and primarily gravel. Some two-track, open range, one or two minimum maintenance roads. Multiple stops for photographers.
Intermediate: 40-50 mph average speed. Primarily gravel, two track. Not recommended for novice riders. Fewer stops than scenic.
Advanced: 45-55 mph average speed. Gravel, two-track, minimum maintenance. Higher technical skills required.
So, far, we have ride leaders offering scenic and intermediate. If we have a leader step up to lead an advanced patrol, will offer at the Rider Meeting on the morning of June 20 in Cottonwood Falls.
