Back to the Dirt

Hey all,

It has been a long time since I have been around the BTK site and it looks a little different now. Was out of the dual sport game for a while when I thought it would be a good idea to buy an old jeep and fix it up...that didnt last long even though the kids liked it and then I traded it for a sportbike, which again was fun for a minute...recently saw my dream bike for sale in Hutch and made the decision to get it.

I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer and I am getting my dirt legs back underneath me with a beast of a bike, good thing the sportbike was an R1. I hope to be able to hit up the Stampede this year and see how many people are still around from years gone by. See yall on the dirt sometime soon.

Welcome back Smitty. So, did you used to roam around on a DR 650?

So, the Explorer - I'm guessing it's the 1200 version??

You got the right guy Mike. Sold that bike unfortunately when I got the Jeep...but I am really liking the 1200...I have alot of setup to do on it but it will get there. Riding it daily to work and it is just great!
