Adventure Palooza will probably be September 25th - there are a few folks who will probably plan on going on that ride. I will probably be going next year.

I think Dale told me they had 258 paid and registered riders on Adventure Palooza this year. Those are BIG numbers man! I would not try to compete with their dates! It just gets bigger every year. We rode it this year and other than relentless dust, they do an amazing job of hosting an event!

I voted June 4th, I'd be good with any of the June dates but the earlier the cooler, we can hope. With Monday of that week being memorial day, I might just take the whole week off and show up a day or two early for some extra riding and activities

Couple of questions...
RVs and camping: Is there any near other than the Beaumont Hotel? They only have 11 RV spaces although it looks like there is plenty of tent camping.
Would it be possible to have a swap meet associated with the Stampede? Maybe the Friday evening before or Saturday evening after the ride? I'm sure most of us have parts, accessories and gear we wouldn't mind getting rid of.

There isn't much of anything near Beaumont. The closest things I can find on google maps are Fall River Lake, El Dorado Lake, or Eureka. There's a state fishing lake near Latham which appears to allow camping as well, but it's fairly primitive.
