New here, again...

I am a new rider, took the MSF class a couple years ago. I just bought 2012 KLR 650 from a guy in Winfield. I am just wanting to learn to be safe and have a good time exploring the backroads in Kansas. I drive a Jeep JKU with an Ursa Minor we have set up for trips and love camping, backpacking, mountain biking. But now I am looking forward to exploring on my own or with a couple people. Thanks for having me here.

Welcome!  A DR650 is a good choice.  It is easy enough for a beginner but you won't outgrow it.  Where are you located?

Welcome to the group. If you haven't already did it - check out the Dual Sport Safari in Garnett at the end of May. It's a good event and a good place to meet several of us in one spot.

I'm down around the Chanute area.

You ride a DR you must be incredibly intelligent and handsome like the rest of us DR Riders ;D Hope to see you at the Safari. The steaks are hand-cut locally and really good! Our Road routes are really good for newer riders and the folks that show up are the guys you want to know!
