Shame this years ride was nixed by weather, even though the day scheduled the weather was perfect, the preceding week's weather was not.
There were 18 riders on the first May 5 ride and I took a chance with some shorter routes. Much of this land is "Privately Owned"! It is declared "Open Range" and has some access for first response...which is of course all political. I have ran across and met on the trails many hands, owners and other adventurers during my explorations.
I have met many and know lots of folks in this group and have full confidence in them. But when a Rancher see's 18 riders....well I would be skeptical as well.
I am proposing to offer rides led in groups of 3-5, & max of 7 but that still may limit routes.
Any qualms about cattle...they have the "Right of Way". Bulls 6' at the shoulder may be encountered.
Mainly making this post as to find interest and or create a wanting list. First come first serve I will send private msg to those and work down the list for dates I deem viable.
I am quite close to the area so is easy for me to organize on short notice.
