Brand new, just got my endorsement and in the process of obtaining a ride. Looking to have a bike I can learn and get to know on the street and take on trails... although there doesn't seem to be a lot of trails in the area besides the off road parks. Would have been awesome if I could have found time to start riding when I lived in Michigan, but oh well.

I just got a WR250R, It has some wear on the swingarm but I found a replacement that looks to be in excellent shape with only 2000 miles on it and a great price... I'll get that Friday, we'll see. I've got a new chain and sprockets to put on it and get it to a place where I feel comfortable with it not wearing. I think I'm going to put some Tungsten Carbide round stock in the slider just in case I have it set up wrong I'll find out before I need to find another great deal for a swingarm.

My plan for the rest of the fall and winter into spring right now is just to get some time in parking lots and neighborhood streets till I'm really comfortable riding it. I don't have the most time to ride with 3 kids at home but I'm going to work on making the bike mine as well.

I've got some vinyl on the way as a few other parts but I'm excited. I need to get it down to inspection and registered before I start anything too major.

Well, I've got the essential work done to the bike and its ready to ride. At some point I'll want to upgrade lighting on it but now its a matter of waiting for nice days like today and making time to ride.
