Looking at a spot or Garmin inReach.

Trying to decide which one to get, any advice would be helpful. I ride alone a lot, lots of off road, but still take long road trips too.

I too ride alone a lot because of that I purchased a SPOT.  I'm now using V2 and am very happy with it.  I press the "I'm OK" button every morning when I start and every evening when I and done for the day.  That lets my wife know when I start and stop each day.  I also have tracking that I like to record my route and others like following.  Here is a link to my SpotWalla from my last trip:  https://spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php?id=199685b29412d5611b&hoursPast=0&showAll=yes  (I use SpotWalla I find it easier to use then the SPOT map page.)
