Camp Chair recommendations
« on: March 15, 2018, 11:48:09 PM »
Looking for recommendations for a camp chair to bungee on to the bike. I don't mind spending a few dollars for a sturdy chair that's going to last, vs just tossing $25 at something that's going to fall apart; though I'd like to stay under $75 if I can.

Suggestions?

I bought the little compact camping bag chairs from Walmart after I saw a post on one of the many FB motorcycle pages I follow. My review is this. They are small and pack quite easily. Put together quite easily. They are more comfortable than I expected. Still not my Lazy-boy but wasn't expecting that. I would give them 5 stars IF you have a hard surface to sit in the chair upon. HOWEVER! if you are in slightly loamy soil where the pointy legs can sink in the dirt. Then these become an aggravating torture device, and you are better off to take the canvas off the chair and just sit on the canvas on the ground. That way you may bests retain your Christian values.
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.

Which one is that? I'm not familiar with which one you're referring to.

When I get home I’ll take a pic of mine. Works well and easy to pack. Think I got it from amazon.

Like this.  $30.

That is the same chair I bought Walmart has them on their shelf in Ottawa, KS. It is really cool chair,  small, light it packs easy. But those darn legs sink in the mud at the exact time you get comfortable and have that deep breath out sigh and relax. PLOP on you head in the mud and one of the legs is buried up to the axle, and I'm rolling around in the mud like a fat puppy trying to get up. But again, if you have a hard surface. 5 stars.
