"We picked up 7 to 10 percent torque and horsepower from just above 2500 rpm to 6500 rpm. No loss of power anywhere. That's all we did."

This is something I did when I rebuilt the engine in my KLR, and I can tell you - it's really easy to loosen up the cam chain, lift it up, and advance the cam. It's free, other than the cost of gaskets and an oil change.

Umm, My son and I witnessed Nick pulling a wheelie on a KLR right in the middle of a highway! It did not end well for him. I think the shock that a KLR would pull up the front end was simply too surprising for him to bear. But I can personally verify that he bounces like a champion!
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.
