What brands of freeze-dried camping food do you like? Any particular favorite recipes?

I've been browsing amazon and see a lot of "Mountain House", which looks pretty affordable at around $6 to $7 per item.

Whatever brand they sell at Walmart is pretty good. I have bought some cause my youngest wouldn't shut up, and the scrambles eggs and breakfast ones are just great! We had the B&G and thestroganoff and they were great. Beats the hell out of Dane's MRE's!
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.

We backpack and camp as often as we can. Mountain house are great. I really like the Chilimac, beef stew and the egg breakfast.
Backpackers pantry also has some good options. When I’m out I carry a jetboil to heat water.
