RIde Calendar Reminder
« on: February 25, 2018, 01:00:04 PM »
UPDATED - The latest forum software update fixes this problem! When you post a new thread, after posting, there's a "Link to calendar" button at the bottom of your post. Just click there to create a calendar entry from an existing post.

The old way still works too, so now both ways work. I think the updated software provides a much more intuitive way to post to the calendar, after making the post.

As riding season approaches I am starting to see rides posted!

Just a reminder that you can start your thread by adding your ride to the calendar, and then it'll show up on the calendar.

Unfortunately there's not a way that I've found to link an existing thread to a new calendar entry, so if you'd like to post your ride on the ride calendar, please start by clicking "Post Event" on the calendar menu on the top menu bar.

So I found a solution to this! If you want to put it on the calendar, but already made a thread just make a new calendar entry with a new thread, then PM me (or another forum admin) to merge the threads.

Ride safe out there, and keep the rubber side down!

The latest software update fixes this problem, at the bottom of a post you can now find a "Link to Calendar" button to link your post to the calendar. This is MUCH more intuitive than the other way around, in my opinion. It should be a lot easier to use!
