NO ONE CAN RIDE ON BOX TURTLE ROAD. THIS IS FROM THE LAND OWNER HIMSELF.

Sounds like the county abandoned it? That's too bad. It was a fun road.

Box turtle wasn't what it once was anyway.   Just rode out there 2 weekends ago and with that last rain there are A LOT of really washed out roads and deep ruts.   Roads I used to be able to blast down are now a bit more challenging on my mid sized/big bike.   Rode my skid plate quite a bit on the last ride where no ruts used to be present.

Thanks Phil, I’m sure your ride will be awesome.

So it looks like $10 a head for the people camping will cover my cost and what ever is left will go to Mike Bright and the CMA. Have we have to thank him for our breakfast. Thanks for all that plan on coming. Should be some really good riding this weekend.

I was going to ride up tonight, but I'd rather have dry boots tomorrow!

Will head up in the morning unless the rain dries up by 8pm, which doesn't look likely. Still planning on riding tomorrow!

Had some alarms at work to resolve before I could get going. Will probably arrive closer to 10am.

Myself and another will be riding in later tonight, can't leave the Topeka area until 6:00PM.   Was going to get muddy on the way there but our ETD continues to get pushed back so we'll likely just ride pavement unfortunately and get there to set up before it's too dark.

That four letter word "work" may thwart my plans to make it this year. If so I want to be sure to contribute to the camping fund since I was part of the need to upgrade so please send me a pm where I can send it if you don't see me this weekend, if I'm there I will find you with the payment.

To all my Backroads friends that attended the Stampede. We had a great time. Marc and Nick, you guys did a great job putting the event together, thank you.
So, there was a collection box out to help pay for the group camp site. Any extra funds were donated to CMA. I just wanted to say - thank you for the very generous donations. Becky and I serve because that what Christ calls us to do. We enjoy doing it. The extra funds that we received went directly to the one fund raising effort that CMA does each year. It's called Run for the Son. I talked about it a bit around camp. But I wanted to share a link with everyone so you could get more information if you wanted.

Again, thank you all. We had a great time.

Thanks to all who had a hand in putting on this years stampede.   It was something I have tried to make for several years but always got sidetracked.   This was my brother and I's first time riding the flinthills, wow very good track, ideal weather and most important friendly people.   Thank you all very much for making a couple new faces feel welcome.   We usually ride in Missouri because we all know Kansas is flat right with no scenery right?      Great event, great people, great scenery and roads.     Thank you all and hope to make it again next year.
