Mid America Power Sports - going out of business
« on: October 25, 2018, 01:24:13 PM »
I heard from dad today that he stopped by MAP in Wichita, and they're having a huge liquidation sale and closing the business down.

MAP has been a great sponsor for us and I'd encourage everybody to stop by and check out the sale. The least we can do as a group to thank them for their support over the years is to help them wind things down gracefully!

Yes, I stopped by MAP about two weeks ago and was shocked when I walked in and saw most of the bikes gone. Talked to Ross and he said it was time to close up shop, which I was really sad to hear. A city the size of Wichita will not have a Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki or Kawasaki dealer is hard to believe, times have changed and young people are just not buying bikes I guess, and after the '08 downturn it hasn't recovered like it was.
