Beaumont - July 23rd

So, July 23rd is the next motorcycle Sunday at Beaumont. I'm thinking we plan to meet for breakfast and then hit the back roads. Anyone game?

Sounds like a great opportunity to get together and ride but I will be out of state, hopefully a few will take advantage of your plan!!

I'll try to make it, but I'll have some family in from out of state, so I might be otherwise occupied.

For those not following the Kansas ADV Route thread, Marc has worked up a route that runs from Marysville at the north border south to the Oklahoma border south of Cedar Vale. It passes very close to Beaumont.
I've split the route at a point near Beaumont. After we eat breakfast on the 23rd we'll jump on the route and go south to the border, should be fun. That should still give us all time to get home from the border. As we get closer we'll try to set a departure time from Beaumont so everyone will know when they need to arrive if they want to eat.

I'm going to plan on hitting Beaumont around 7:30 to 8:00 AM to eat breakfast and visit a bit. I'm planning KSU at 9:30 AM to hit the trail.

Right now the forecast is looking wonderfully Kansas in July. Hot and humid. Bring something to drink.

I got up this morning to the sound of rain! The radar in motion looks like it will clear out and we'll have a beautiful day to ride. BUT, I'm going to delay my departure from Chanute about 30 to 60 minutes.
