6-11-17 ride east of Wichita

I'm planing to just get out on my klr250 to get used to it off road. I'm looking at places to ride. Everyone is welcome. Don't plan on getting into stuff that will kill this old man, most likely lots of pictures taken around the ride.

Have a small route made up. So far only about 40 miles. Plans are to meet at QT at 63rd and rock rd. Don't know a time yet. Maybe like 7 or 8 am. Would like some input on a time that works for people. So far going down around Rock city and up to Douglass for gas, we can ride around the oil field for a bit too, I would like too.

Here is a start to the route. From derby down to Rock, then we can play around the oil field and up to Douglass for gas and maybe lunch. I'll work on the route more today.

Here is the route.
Starts from QT at 63rd. kickstands up at 9am ? let me know if anyone wants the time changed, we can work around it. Head out to the town of Rock, then we can ride around the oil field, then out around to Douglass for gas. Northeast a bit then headed back to Rosehill, then home. Total route is about 100 miles from Derby around to Rosehill. I'll be on a KLR250 not trying to go to fast, more of an easy relaxing Sunday ride. Some roads might be very low maintenance roads or trails. but there are alternate routes if we can't pass them.
There should be gas at Douglass and Rosehill. Everyone is welcome.
This will be my first ride leading, so I hope it all works out, only going by Google maps and my Delorme app.
