I've always stopped in there for lunch (and pie!).

The ride up (or down) 103 is excessively awesome :)

There were two "must do" items on my list for this trip: 1) eat at Oark and 2) ride Push Mountain Rd.  Both were awesome.  We traveled west on 215 into Oark from 23 and 215 was super cool !

I've only been through on my touring bike, and we've never gone east out of town, since it goes to gravel at Catalpa to the east, and almost immediately goes to gravel to the north. Would be fun to explore on the KLR :)

215 is nice, but you really missed out if you didn't ride 103 to the south!

It's so great that honestly I'd go down it and then back up if I had to head out of Oark on 215 to get where I was going! :)
