Found me a deal I couldn't resist last week! I have owned this model two other times in my past and I guess I just can't let it go? She's a 1981 Honda CB900F with 13,000 miles on the clock! My first one was purchased band new in 81, then in 83 I picked up my Suzuki GS1100SD Katana and shortly after I let the 900F go, a move I've never forgiven myself for....
Somewhere around 84-85 I picked up another 81 900F and it never really excited me like the first one so I parted with her in 86.... Since then I've always had an eye out for another opportunity and last week it happened!
I've got some really exciting things buzzing around in my head for this bike and I'm putting some pieces in place to do what I need to to make it a special nostalgic ride for me.. I'm aquiring some vintage first generation Yoshimura 4 into 1 racing pipe for it just like I had on my first one! This was no easy task either... after some repaid ceramic coating it will look new again after 35 years!
Anyway just wanted to share even though she'll never see a backroad, you may see her out someday anyway!!
