Welcome to the group.  I'm in S.E. Kansas near Eureka. Are you planning on riding the stampede with us May 21?

Sorry I meant to include more description in this initial introduction.  As you can see I ride a KLR, which is well known to be a mediocre, but very reliable machine.  I'm excited to do more riding in Kansas and otherwise as I've that you have a lot of great backroads to explore.

Thanks,
Nick

I had a demo ride on the Africa twin while in Washington at a Touratech rally.  Really nice ride

Soon the temps will be rising and we will all be out enjoying the backroads.

Introduce Yourself / Hello from Wichita

Hey all, I've lurked on the Facebook page for a while but finally stumbled on the website. In my continued efforts to 'de-Facebook', here I find myself.

In NW Wichita, main ride is the XT250 and I'm currently working on an XT350 for a cafe/flat-track style build. It'll be finished... some day...

Look forward to getting out there.

I'm planning on doing some server maintenance over the weekend - the site may be down for a bit while working on it.

Ride Planning / Re: Mark your calendar ...

We were curious if there were any groups of people staying anywhere?  Half the fun is the people and conversations so we were hoping to find lodging near other riders.  We are good camping or hotel.  Thanks Roger for putting this all together again!

I'll be planning on camping out at the City Lake.

Thank you! There's the Blue Stem Motel in Eureka. The city lake north of town offers camping. I'm waiting to hear from the city on use of the lodge and surrounding land at the lake for camping and gathering.
