The Grand Adventure / Re: Utah BDR - 2022
« Last post by Nick Bright on March 24, 2022, 02:47:08 PM »
For anyone interested in going to Utah on this trip, let's try to go have dinner together on Friday night at the Stampede. I think it will be good to discuss everyone's expectations.
I have a Utah BDR map and a Utah State highway map we can use for reference.
Thoughts???

I think this would be great to get everyone on the same page!

Myself and a friend are interested in joining the UTBDR group.  We have rode the WABDR and I have rode the COBDR.  By September we will have rode the IDBDR, God willing.

Sounds good, are you going to be at the Stampede? I'd like to plan for everybody who's going to UTBDR to get together at the Stampede to talk logistics.

I believe at this point that we have several riders who would not be wise to go into Lockhart Basin, so I think that the assessment is that as a group we will ride the normal route, not the Experts section through Lockhart.

Thanks for the update, to many days off for me, I don’t have many days off per year. Enjoy your ride, I’m sure it will be epic.

That sucks Marc, it's always fun riding with you :D

For me, this worked out to 80 hours of vacation (10 days), but your schedule may be entirely different to where it works out to more days.

I've got this ride on my calendar!

I think I'll camp out at the Lake on Friday night at the Santa Fe campground, if anybody wants to share a campsite!

If you need a sweep, I'll sweep for you; just send me the route GPX file please!
