I am a Kansas native living in NM.  I don't think I can make the Flint Hills Stampede, bu plan on biking in KS the end of May first of June and would like to know the route for that ride so that I can take it at a later day.   thanks.

There is a good number of Dual Sport riders in Garnett, not too far away from you. Come join us sometime if the weather EVER stops throwing its constant tantrum.

Old, Long time motorcycle enthusiast.
New to adventure bikes.
I've owned just about every type at one point or other. Last two were HD RoadGlides. Ben on the BMW R1200GSA FOR 1.5 yrs approx.
Have rode gravel / some min maint rds.

I will be in town working EMS so might have to jump and run but sounds good to me.  Not to many options with seating. Benny's or Pizza Hut.  Lo Mar has limited seating.

I've read that the Dempster is a destination unto itself, sounds awesome

New to the group but I've been riding a long time.  Currently only have WR250R but I'm looking for another ride; not sure what just yet.
Vietnam vet, ridden to Alaska/BC/Yukon/NW Territory six times on 4 different bikes.  Best trip was to Inuvik, NW Territory, Canada; 8K miles in 3 weeks.

2008 two friends and I went to Inuvik from eastern Nebraska.  8K miles in 3 weeks camped most of the way.  The highlight of the trip was the Dempster Highway, 467 miles of gravel/dirt/ruts/shale/mud.  We went about as far north as possible without a boat in June.
