2018 CMA Roads and Trails Rally

Good Afternoon,

WHAT: CMA Roads and Trails Rally
WHERE: Kelly Park - Burlington, KS
WHEN: September 7 - 9, 14 - 16, 2018  [POSTPONED ONE WEEK DUE TO WEATHER!]
TIME: Riders meetings are at 8:30 AM each day

I wanted to go ahead and get this event on the 2018 Ride Calendar. It's the annual CMA Roads and Trails Rally. The event will be held on September 7 - 9, 2018 in Burlington, KS as we did last year, in Kelley Park. We will have new routes for 2018. There will be organized rides on both Friday and Saturday. Sunday is sort of loose, depending on who can stay and who has to pack up and head home.

As we develop more details I will post them here. So, go ahead and start filling that 2018 riding calendar. As soon as CMA publishes the rest of the Roads and Trails event calendar I will post it. There will be an event in Missouri, Arkansas and Colorado, among others.

Hello, I am new to the group.  I was wondering if the dates have been set for the Stampede Sept 2018?  I assume 14-16th? I would be coming from a long way away and need time to plan etc.

We haven't picked dates for the Stampede yet.

I wanted to give a little bump for the Roads and Trails Rally in Burlington. It will be September 7 - 9, 2018. The rally headquarters is the 4H Building in Kelley Park at the south end of Burlington. There is camping (both tent and RV) available in the park and there are a couple of nice motels in town.

We will have an organized ride on both Friday and Saturday. Kevin Boyce is laying out some new routes for us to ride. I'm really looking forward to new territory.

After talking with Kevin for a little bit he volunteered to smoke some chicken and pulled pork for a Saturday night meal. CMA is going to pick up some beans, potato salad and so forth to round out the meal.
CMA is also going to be providing a biscuits and gravy breakfast on Saturday morning. For Friday morning we will have some donuts and coffee and juice.

So, if this event has kind of slipped off your radar please get it back in focus. It'll be coming up quickly.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there.

RD, I just saw the question about the ATV/Off-Road bikes. They will go play at the Otter Creek ORV area at John Redmond dam site. That's about 10 minutes haul away from Burlington on the south side of the dam.

Will, it'll be good to see you at the event. I presume you'll be camping at Kelley Park. There will be some others of us there as well.

Kelly Park seems like the place to be!  I am planning on camping.
